Race for an Orphan 5K

Thank you to all who participated in this years race.
Join the Race for an Orphan 5K and support orphans in Russia, India, and Kenya. This 5K walk/run is open to people of all ages and abilities. Strollers and dogs are welcome to participate in the race; please start towards the back of the pack. In addition to 5K, our Family Fun Zone offers activities including bounce houses and balloon animals.
All proceeds from the Race for an Orphan 5K support The Boaz Project’s mission of supporting orphans. Additional donations are always welcome and can be made directly on our site, or through sponsoring one of our Fund Racers.
Runners and walkers in the 5K receive the following:
- Commemorative 5K finisher medal
- Commemorative short-sleeve technical shirt
- Disposable chip timing device
- Awards for Men’s and Women’s first, second and third place finishers

The Start/Finish line will be located in the parking lot on the Northeast corner of E. Smith Valley Rd. and S. Meridian St. in Greenwood.
8:30 a.m. Family Fun Zone Activities begin
9:00 a.m. Race start
Not a runner? No problem! We need volunteers to assist as course marshals, at water stations, and other duties. Sign up to volunteer on our registration site.

Individual: $30 Early Bird / $35 after March 23rd
12 and under: $15
Family: $100 (up to 5 members)
Teams: $25 per person (10 or more)
